Dr. Linda Sigmund is a board certified , nationally recognized neurologist specializing in Parkinson’s Disease. Until her retirement, she directed the Movement Disorder Center of the Neurology Center of Fairfax, where she participated in clinical research in the pharmacologic treatment of PD. Dr. Sigmund established the first PD support and exercise programs in the greater Washington metropolitan area in 1986. Currently, she serves as PFNCA board member emeritus and on the Medical Advisory Board of PFNCA. In 2011 she was awarded a lifetime achievement award from PFNCA.
