PFNCA’s Recently Diagnosed Support Group, currently being offered over Zoom, for residents of DC, MD & VA, provides important information for people facing a new diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease. The group meets for eight sessions and is co-led by PFNCA’s Support Group Specialist Leon Paparella, MSW, CGP and Michelle Goldberg, LCSW-C. The program is ideal for people diagnosed in the last 18-24 months or for those diagnosed longer, but just now beginning to address their diagnosis. The group is intended for the PD patient — their care partner, family member or friend may attend as well.
The next Recently Diagnosed Support Group to begin Fall 2020.
