This program establishes a wellness and prevention program for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease and their care partners with a focus on maintenance of communication skills. This program stresses the importance of speaking louder to be heard in social settings.
Why Communication Clubs are important for people facing Parkinson’s?
Those diagnosed with Parkinson’s may experience reduced breath support and monotone speaking qualities leading to low speaking volume, which is difficult for others to hear and understand. Communication Clubs are provided to strengthen your breath support and improve your ability to project so you can continue to be heard loud and clear by your family and friends.
