W. Clarke Ewart is Senior principal of Paradigm Development Company. Clarke is responsible for all of Paradigm’s development activities. He oversees the entire development and construction process for more than 8,000 multi-family housing units. Clarke is also a licensed class-A general contractor in Virginia. He has been with Paradigm since its inception in November of 1991 and was employed by Paradigm’s predecessor organization (National Development Corporation) as an executive vice president/project manager. Before that, he worked as a group lending officer at Maryland National Bank and in strategic planning at Emerson Electrical Company. Clarke received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh. He resides in Silver Spring, Maryland.
