Andrew Clark is Partner/Principal with Ernst & Young’s Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services practice (FIDS) in the Washington, DC office. Mr. Clark has been with FIDS for fourteen years where he specializes in investigations and compliance matters both domestically and abroad. He is largely responsible for Independent Review Organization (IRO) services for companies operating under Corporate Integrity Agreements (CIAs) in the life science industry. He serves as Engagement Director for many of the firm’s largest IRO clients. Andrew’s CIA and investigative experiences have spanned the length of his tenure at EY and include transactional and system analyses relating to sales and marketing, focus arrangements, physician payments, physician sampling, call planning, medical information management, general compliance, pharmaceutical pricing and financial investigations.
Andrew has also assisted in the development of policies, standard operat ing procedures and auditing & monitoring protocols for major life sciences companies. He has been involved in a variety of other investigative and compliance matters for over 35 life science companies spanning multiple years, including international assessments in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.
Andrew has an Accounting degree fr om Georgetown University and an MBA from Duke University. Prior to joining EY, Andrew had experiences in clinical and pre- clinical patient care and has assisted in clinical support activities for a major metropolitan medical center including developing, implementing and maintaining management systems over a variety of areas. Andrew served as Director of Training for a large volunteer ambulance company and was an auditor for anot her major accounting firm. He is also a Cert ified Fraud Examiner and is active with non-profit organizations in the Washington, DC area.
