Dr. Stephen Grill, of the Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center of Maryland, recently presented a lecture titled “Understanding Your Parkinson’s Medications” as part of PFNCA’s Parkinson’s Pointers lecture series.
PFNCA’s Parkinson’s Pointers are live streamed to various partner locations around the National Capital Area and include the opportunity for in-person attendees to take part in a question and answer session at the end of the lecture. About Our Speaker
Dr. Stephen Grill is currently an Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University (JHU) in Baltimore and Chair of the Medical Advisory Board of the Parkinson Foundation of the National Capital Area (PFNCA). He received a PhD in Neuroscience and an M.D. from Northwestern University. Dr Grill completed a neurology residency at Washington University and a fellowship in movement disorders at the National Institute of Health. In addition to his professorship at JHU and his PFNCA chairmanship, Dr. Grill participates in additional leadership roles, including Medical Advisor for the Greater Washington Support Group of the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation, and Medical Advisor for the Howard County Chapter of the National Ataxia Foundation. He is a member of the Society for Neuroscience and the Movement Disorder Society.
He practices at Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center of Maryland in Elkridge, Maryland
