To celebrate Parkinson’s Awareness month, we have made available a presentation by Dr. Bonnie Kaas of the Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center of Maryland titled, “Benefits of Exercise for Parkinson’s Disease”. This presentation reviews the benefits of exercise for people with Parkinson’s disease and discusses different types of exercise and recommendations for developing an exercise routine. This presentation was recorded for the 2025 PFNCA Symposium.

Dr. Bonnie Kaas completed medical school, residency and movement disorders fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She worked as a general and movement disorders neurologist at Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland from 2019-2024. She joined Parkinson’s & Movement Disorders Center of Maryland, a member of Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians – Neurology Consultants in Elkridge, Maryland in January 2025.
