Lucy is a seasoned executive and advisor with more than two decades of experience leading innovation, strategy, and organizational transformation. After a 20 year career at Bain & Company—culminating in her roles as Executive Vice President of Solution Innovation, and Senior Director of the Digital, Technology & Analytics and Strategy Groups—she now serves as a business advisor to mission driven organizations.
While at Bain, Lucy oversaw a portfolio of 20+ internally developed technology solutions for use in client work. She led the investment committee and annual budgeting process, designed firm-wide approach to portfolio & product lifecycle management for technology-based products and facilitated best practice sharing across products. She supported clients across a broad range of topics, including scaling emerging businesses, executing digital transformations, and redesign of organizational processes.
In her advisory work, Lucy supports for-profit and non-profit organizations through strategic planning, program management, and partnership development. She led strategic projects for League One Volleyball, a new professional women’s volleyball league. She serves on the U.S. Soccer Foundation’s DC Leadership Council, where she helped shape a DMV wide strategy and advance fundraising efforts for mentorship and training programs supporting DC Public School educators. She also holds leadership roles at The Field School, including President of the Parent Association and was a member of the school’s Capital Campaign Committee.
Lucy’s academic background includes an MBA with High Honors from Harvard Business School and a BA in History from Harvard University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and competed on the four-time National Champion varsity squash team. Lucy also completed the Sports Philanthropy Certificate Program at The George Washington University, where her capstone focused on community engagement and social impact models in the National Women’s Soccer League. She resides in Washington, D.C.
