PFNCA is proud to help facilitate a network of more than 40 area support groups. Because these groups have different focuses, you may find it helpful to speak with the support group facilitator to get a sense of their group’s focus. Some questions you may want to ask include:
- How would you characterize your group and what is the primary purpose of your group?
- What is the average number of years your group members have been living with Parkinson’s?
- What have some of your recent discussion topics been?
- Does your group have participation limitations due to the size of your meeting location?
The below links direct you to area support groups. Ones denoted with an asterisk (*) are led by PFNCA Support Group Specialist Leon Paparella. Please note that meeting dates and locations are subject to change. Please contract the Support Group facilitator to verify meeting information.
